Extremely high grade for the variety.  Frame line is incomplete cut slightly into the design along right border.  Unusual unknown 1863 IP stamp, with manuscript 1864 and Jackson, Ms 1865 IP stamp.  (?cbx++)   Reverse:  Image    Grade & Price:  Choice About New 58    $275.00

T41 #2354 Z 1st Date IssueObverse:  #1254  Z  Aug 26th, 1862
J.M. Kinney, for Register * H.C. Williams, for Treasurer
Bradbeer (Cr) #311
Reverse:  3 IP stamp:  Augusta, Ga. 1863, 1864 & 1865
Comments:  This is the "First Date of Issue". No "the" before Confederate.  Although tightly trimmed, a full borderline is evident.  This is a super nice note for this scarcer variety.  It has partial CS(A) block watermark, all Scroll 1.  (cut+bx)

T41 #21973 RedDate 111062 XF45Obverse:  #21973  W  Sept 29, 1862  111062
G. Johnston, for Register * W.L. Harvey, for Treasurer
Bradbeer  (Cr) #320A  (Thick paper)  Scroll 2
Reverse:  Blank (very unusual)
Comments:  This note bears a Red Date stamp first introduced Sept 12, 1862 to help quell the counterfeit panic in Savannah, Ga.  Primarily a validation stamp used to re-issue previously funded non-interest notes, it served a dual purpose on Trains & Hoers as an interest calculation date.  It has numerous bends and other light handling marks.  It exhibits great balance, color & contrast.  It has nearly complete CSA script watermark. (right side up from front)  I considered this note slightly better than #21972 in my notations prior to grading!  (ctx+bx /prev uwt)
Reverse:  Image  Grade & Price:  EPQ, Choice XF 45    $300.00

Obverse:  #30227  Y  Nov 24, 1862
W.T. Snead, for Register * A.S. Watts, for Treasurer
Bradbeer  (Cr) #318A  Scroll 2  (*unlisted minor variety)
Reverse:  3 Augusta, Ga. IP, 1863, 1864 & 1865
Comments:  This note has great balance, color & contrast.  Block CSA , with only "C" visible watermarked paper.  This note is unusual for two reasons.  1)  The 1865 IP is black ink where it is normally blue.  2)  There is a small "T" to right of left serial number at the edge of vignette.  Collectors have only in recent years paid notice to this minor variety and are finding it difficult to locate.  It is, I believe, only found on two plate positions!  (ctx+bx =btx)
Reverse:  Image  Grade & Price:  Very Choic New 64 PPQ    $350.00

Obverse:  #99479  Y  Dec 11, 1862
G. Johnston, for Register * W.L. Harvey, for Treasurer
Bradbeer  (Cr) #316A  (Plain  paper)  Scroll 2
Reverse:  3 Augusta, Ga. IP, 1863, 1864 & 1865
Comments:  This note has great balance, color and contrast, with better than average borders.  There is a tiny natural paper hole, similar to a tiny pin-hole, near top right just under 1862.  There is also a small gutter fold in the 100 medallion at left.  This really a very nice type note!  (?cnx+/-)  Reverse:  Image  Grade & Price:  Choice New 63 PPQ    $310.00

Bradbeer  (Cr) #326A  (Plain med. paper)  Scroll 2
Reverse:  2 IP stamp:  Augusta, Ga. 1864 & 1865
Comments:  This note has great balance, color & contrast.  Printed on plain or un-watermarked paper.  Looks just as nice as the Gem Unc 65 to me!  This note has the tiny "T" to left of central vignette.  (ctx+bx =btx)

Obverse:  #158597  Y  Jan 3d, 1863
W. Hancock, for Register * A.W. Gray, for Treasurer
There are a couple very light corner counting bends that keep it from grading UNC.  It has a couple tiny pin-holes at center.  There is also the tiny phantom "T" to left of vignette!  (?cnx?)   Reverse:  Image  Grade & Price:  Choice About New 58 PPQ    $280.00
